All About Miss Stephens!

I am a kindergarten teacher at Oakview Elementary School and I am very excited to be working with you!  This is my twelfth year teaching and I am thrilled to have you in my class!  I am looking forward to a wonderful school year for all! 

About Me:  

First,  you should know that I love all Philly sports teams!  I am a huge Phillies, Sixers and Eagles fan and go to as many games as possible.  My family is extremely important to me and we spend a lot of time together.  We love to travel and have taken many trips to other states!  Some of my favorite vacations with my family include visits to Las Vegas, New Orleans, Florida, and the Outer Banks, NC.  I also love the Jersey Shore and spend a good deal of time in the summer in Ocean City and Sea Isle City.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with friends, and listening to music.   I have been to quite a few country concerts and loved them all!  I have seen Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, Eli Young Band, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Grace Potter, and Maroon 5.  

My Education:  

I graduated from Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ.  I attended Rider University, where I majored in Psychology and Elementary Education and minored in Special Education.  In 2012, I completed my master's degree in Reading Education at Rowan University and am a certified reading specialist.
